Nintendo Switch
The Nintendo Switch is a Nintendo video game console, released on March 3, 2017, as the successor to the Wii U. Its defining feature is the ability to switch between portable tablet and home console modes, effectively making it a hybrid console. There is a handheld-only variant of the Switch called the Nintendo Switch Lite.

The system was succeeded in 2025 by the Nintendo Switch 2, which retains backwards compatibility with nearly all of the Switch's games.
