Double Punch (ROTB)
From MediaWiki
| This article is about the Predacon Scorponok relative. For the humanoid Decepticon, see Double Punch (G1). |
- Double Punch is a Terrorcon-allied Predacon from the Rise of the Beasts portion of the Movie continuity family.

Double Punch and his brethren -- the Scorponok race -- are enemies of the Maximals. They are presumably fond of the color red.

Toys
[edit]Studio Series
[edit]- Double Punch (Deluxe Class, 2025)
- Movie: Rise of the Beasts
- Hasbro ID number: 115
- Accessories: Tail weapon, "Volcano Showdown" backdrop
- Known designers: Evan Brooks (Hasbro)[1]
- Part of the twenty-seventh wave of Studio Series Deluxe Class figures, Double Punch is a redeco of Scorponok in a more screen-accurate red and dark gray color scheme, transforming from a mechanical scorpion into a robot based on an unused CG model. His tail can be detached to use as a whip-like weapon, pegging inside either forearm with the robot hands resting in the gap, making the weapon look integrated into the arm. His backdrop depicts the volcanic final battle.
- In beast mode, the gold paint on his chest can get scratched from contact with the ground.
- Double Punch's box uses the original Beast Wars Predacon insignia, while the toy itself correctly features the Rise of the Beasts version.
Notes
