The Autobot/Decepticon battle for Energon continues on a distant planet called... Eternia?
Plot
Cybertron–a world at war, torn apart by the Autobots and Decepticons in their battle for Energon. The Autobots flee the planet–and the Decepticons' plans for their eradication–on the Ark, which jettisons their historial archives into space to try and warn the universe about their fearsome enemies.
The capsule crashes on the distant planet of Eternia, where it is investigated by Man-At-Arms. He discovers that it holographically tells the history of the Autobots, related by Optimus Prime. With their society seeming even more technologically advanced than that of Eternia, Man-At-Arms' ally Sorceress encourages him to download the pod's data.
Man-At-Arms wasn't the first to reach the pod, and he finds himself attacked by Skeletor, who has already taken advantage of the Cybertronians' data to arm himself with Megatron Armor and a fearsome Havok Cannon. Man-At-Arms is rescued by intervention from He-Man, but the scantily-clad hero feels the power of Castle Grayskull draining from him into Skeletor's cannon. Man-At-Arms hits back with his own blast, and Skeletor is forced to flee, promising to return and take the power of Energon.
Later, in his lab, Man-At-Arms has researched the Autobots' data on Energon and discovered its similar energy readings to the power of Castle Grayskull. With himself and He-Man on the back foot compared to Skeletor's new equipment, Man-At-Arms develops new armor with the power of Bumblebee and Optimus Prime.
In his lair at Snake Mountain, Skeletor offers an alliance to the otherworldly Scareglow. With the Energon of Castle Grayskull, Skeletor can rule Eternia, sending its people's souls to Scareglow's domain of Subternia! Scareglow accepts these terms, and Skeletor imbues him with the power of the most dangerous Decepticon soldier... the treacherous air commander Starscream...

Notes
Packed in with the first wave of Masters of the Universe x Transformers toys, the artwork for this comic was produced by an uncredited Marcelo Matere.[1] No-one has come forward to take credit for the script.
Transformers references
- Skeletor stands over Man-At-Arms much like Megatron does over Ironhide in The Transformers: The Movie.
Artwork and technical errors
- A caption starting with "Meanwhile" is used to transition into a scene that takes place after some time has passed.
- "Megatron's nemesis is Optimus Prime and the Autobots" says Man-At-Arms; so Megatron's singular nemesis is a number of plural Autobots.
- "This new Autobots Armor" is an awkward phrase, but a probably intentional one we have to grin and bear with (trademark reasons, we expect).
- Scare Glow's name is written as "Scareglow".
Continuity errors
- The historical archive crashes within walking distance of Castle Grayskull, but it's Skeletor who gets there first. Sure!
Trivia
- Prior to their adoption of the new armour, He-Man, Man-at-Arms and Scare Glow, as well as the head of the Sorceress, are based directly on Powerhouse Animation's character models from Masters of the Universe: Revelation. Man-at-Arms fires on Skeletor with the large laser cannon he wielded in episode 5 of the series, which was also packed in as an accessory with his 2023 Masterverse Deluxe toy.
- Hasbro and Mattel posted an Instagram Collab featuring a motion comic adaptation of this story. The dialogue and captions are heavily abridged; key changes see Eternia referred to as a "distant planet" rather than the comic's curious "first planet", and the name of Skeletor's weapon rendered as "havoc cannon".
