When a data capsule from Cybertron landed on Eternia, Skeletor sought it out as a source of power, fashioning for himself armor based off of Megatron and gaining a powerful Havok Cannon. Attacking He-Man and Man-At-Arms with his new power, Skeletor began to drain the former's power with his new cannon before he was forced to retreat. Returning to his lair, Skeletor made an alliance with Scare Glow, granting him armor based off Starscream. By the Energon of Grayskull

Leading his forces to storm Castle Grayskull to convert its power into energon only to be met by his enemies clad in their own Cybertronian armor inspired by the Autobots. Using a recreation of the Matrix of Leadership, He-Man managed to strip Skeletor of his armor and take him prisoner. Roll Out!

Part of the first wave of Mattel's Masters of the Universe × Transformers crossover line of 5½-inch scale action figures, "Megatron Armor Skeletor" is a figure of the [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Masters of the Universe|{{#if:||Masters of the Universe}}]] franchise's main villain decked out in, as the name suggests, a suit of armor that blends Skeletor's usual look with that of Generation 1 Megatron.
As part of the Masters of the Universe: Origins figure format, he shares the scale, proportions and visual styling of figures from the classic 80's Masters of the Universe line, but features considerably more articulation. On top of that, many of his parts are removable: his head, arms, hands, waist, and boots (well, the lower half of them) can pop off and be swapped with other figures. While the Origins line re-uses parts frequently (as the vintage line did), this Skeletor is almost entirely newly-sculpted parts. Only his hands and thighs are old, used by lots of other figures; while his biceps are based on the classic generic bare biceps, they have newly-molded holes to mount his shoulder-armor onto. He also shares new-mold feet with his wave-mate Bumblebee Armor Man-At-Arms.
In terms of weaponry, it's lots of ram-skulls going on. He comes with the "Havoc Cannon", a fusion of his classic Havoc Staff and Megatron's arm-cannon that can transform between the two modes, mounting on the fins on his gauntlets in cannon mode. He also has a purple ram-skull flail that can be popped apart, the energy-flail portion compatible with Origins wrist sockets, while the handle has an extra spike-ball on the bottom to remain usable as a mace. And finally he comes with a sword, somewhat based on the sword the original Megatron came with (well, in Japan), which pegs onto his backpack so the handle sticks up in a way evoking Megatron's back-barrel... with the ram-skull on the handle pointing forward over his shoulder.
He also comes with another Origins staple, a mini-comic titled "By the Energon of Grayskull" that provides the backstory for the figure, which also comes packed in with Man-At-Arms.
Megatron Armor Skeletor was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con on July 25, 2025 as a Target exclusive, which made it to shelves in mid-October. He went up for pre-order the same day, with limited quantities also being made available through the Mattel Creations website; members of Mattel's "Club Grayskull" membership program had an exclusivity period that lasted from July 25-July 26, 2025.
