Sorry for taking so long, it's been responded to in the community portal! Though, in the meantime, I don't think you really needed to ask for community approval for a section like this when there's really nothing wrong or contentious about it, I believe it would have been fine if you'd have just gone ahead and published it. Captions

So, I removed those captions not because there was a problem with their content per se, but we frown upon new users joining up just to immediately add captions to images before contributing anything useful to the wiki, and that is what happened there. I'm not going to re-remove them, just wanted to let you know why some captions are often reverted. TitaniumToughGuy (talk) 16:30, 29 September 2025 (EDT)

While I completely understand this, I don't think that it's fair to essentially punish the users by reverting all of their captions (especially when they were on pages with otherwise blank captions like the Dogfight one): unless there's something distinctively problematic or low-effort about the captions themselves, seems like it'd be better to just warn and/or suspend someone who's only engaging in caption-editing imho.
