Hotlink was a member of the Rising Sea and watched as Flamewar drunkenly eulogized their recently deceased captain, Cannonball. Like the rest of his crew, Hotlink continued to serve under Flamewar and Slipstream. Shattered Glass II #4

In the present day, Hotlink flew into battle with the rest of Flamewar's team to fight Rodimus. Shattered Glass II #3 At the end of the battle, he was among those welcoming Soundwave after his survival. Shattered Glass II #5

Notes

• Hotlink is a "virtual redeco" of Siege Voyager Class Starscream.
• Hotlink's black/grey and blue deco is rather similar to Shattered Glass Skywarp's own deco. This is possibly a reference to how the War for Cybertron Trilogy Hotlink figure was commonly seen as a "poor man's Skywarp", due to their similar color schemes and the rarity of Skywarp's own figure.
• His regular counterpart, who is part of Team Stream "Mark Two" in Transformers #27, inspired his role as a member of the Rising Sea.
