While the majority of Transformers—particularly those engaged in the Great War—will deploy lethal weaponry, others are content to use stun weapons to incapacitate their opponents instead. These can work in a variety of ways, with examples including:

Dreamwave Generation One continuity

Finback was armed with a rifle that fired viscous slime capable of ensnaring and stunning its targets. Finback's More than Meets the Eye profile In all three modes Sky High wielded a cerebro circuit-scrambling stun gun that could also jam radio frequencies. Sky High's More than Meets the Eye profile In base mode, Spaceshot and Blackout's all-terrain tank had a scout vehicle component that was armed with a stun cannon. The Transformers

As identified in his instructions, The Transformers Finback came with a light gray stun rifle that can be used by all three of his modes. According to his packaging bio, it fires slime.

As identified in his instructions, The Transformers Pincher came with a large while stun rifle. No version of this mold or character was released in Japan.

The Transformers Sky High came with a light gray stun gun that can be used by all three of his modes.


  • Anti-Aircraft Base (Micromaster Combiner Anti-Aircraft Base, 1990)
  • Accessories: bazooka, scout vehicle, radar drum, missile launcher, ramp, communications dish, left & right anti-aircraft guns
In battle station mode the Anti-Aircraft Base is equipped with a heat-seeking stun laser, according to its packaging bio.


According to Rollout's packaging bio, Glitch transforms from a launcher into a drone armed with a stun laser and a photon gun.

Armada

Armada Laserbeak transforms from a Cybertronic bird to a camcorder and a stun weapon (really just a camcorder with a handle, but that doesn't stop legislation).
