Stun weapon

While the majority of Transformers—particularly those engaged in the Great War—will deploy lethal weaponry, others are content to use stun weapons to incapacitate their opponents instead. These can work in a variety of ways, with examples including:

• Finback's metal-corroding stun rifle, which stuns its targets with slime
• Pincher's 20 megavolt stun rifle, which stuns its targets with metal-fusing energon
• Sky High's impulse scrambling stun gun
• Grimlock's "stunner" lasers
• The Anti-Aircraft Base's heat-seeking stun laser

Dreamwave Generation One continuity

Finback was armed with a rifle that fired viscous slime capable of ensnaring and stunning its targets. Finback's More than Meets the Eye profile In all three modes Sky High wielded a cerebro circuit-scrambling stun gun that could also jam radio frequencies. Sky High's More than Meets the Eye profile In base mode, Spaceshot and Blackout's all-terrain tank had a scout vehicle component that was armed with a stun cannon.
