[edit]Continuity notes
[edit]- The pilot differs pretty significantly from the My Nezha and Transformers version of the show. There's no sign of the show's original human protagonist Xiaozha or any isekai elements, instead being a pretty bog-standard crossover between the Legend of Nezha and Cyberverse characters. However, multiple plot beats from the pilot are reused in the premiere episodes of the show, including several pieces of footage.
- The Decepticons' device reawakening Shiji, her fight with Nezha, and the two plummeting to Earth also occur in "A Wonderful Encounter at the Base".
- The Autobots meeting Nezha in the crater carries forward to "First Encounter with Nezha".
- The scene of Shiji rejuvenating herself and juicing up on electricity appears fully unchanged in "First Encounter with Nezha".
- While the pilot does reuse the Cyberverse character models, the plot doesn't seem to acknowledge the events of that show. That said, considering there's nothing overtly contradictory, one could handwave it as taking place during the 20+ year timeskip between the first and second seasons. But then again, considering this version of the show is never getting continued, it's probably not worth dwelling on.
- Similarly, the show isn't a continuation of The Legend of Nezha, despite their shared character designs. That show ended with Shi Ji being definitively destroyed centuries before the present, so this instead seems to be a different continuity set in the modern day.
