My Nezha and Transformers (我的哪吒与变形金刚 Wǒ de Nézhā yǔ Biànxíng Jīngāng) is a computer-animated cartoon for the Chinese market, a joint effort between Hasbro Entertainment and China Central Television (CCTV). The series is an original story that combines the casts of Transformers: Cyberverse and the 2003 cartoon The Legend of Nezha, a previous CCTV production.

Following the release of a trailer in December 2019, the series vanished without a trace, presumably due to development complications from the 2020 :}}COVID-19 pandemic|, with many assuming it had been totally cancelled. However, a new trailer suddenly emerged in August 2024, revealing the show's new premise and new title of My Nezha and Transformers.
The show is set to run for 52 episodes, with an 11 minute runtime like Cyberverse. The series premiered on December 6, 2025, on CCTV's children's network, :}}CCTV-14|, and aired its first 26 episodes over the course of just nine days. Episodes were subsequently released to various Chinese streaming platforms, such as iQIYI and Bilibili, immediately after airing. According to former Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner, broadcast stations outside of China had previously expressed interest in airing the show, but no international distribution announcements have been made.
Storyline
[edit]The series follows Xiaozha, a young boy with an active imagination who has dreams of becoming a hero, fighting villains alongside his idols Nezha and the Autobots. One night as he sleeps, he finds himself pulled into a dream world, where he meets and befriends the Autobots. However, a failed Decepticon plot causes the disappearance of the divine stones that were containing the evil Shiji, who clashes with Nezha before the two fall to Earth. Gaining powerful new mechanical armor that allows him to fight, Xiaozha works with Nezha and the Autobots to retrieve the stones and stop Shiji and the Decepticons from taking over the world. But as he struggles and fails along the way, Xiaozha will need to learn that heroism isn't all powers and gadgets, and that it is what lies inside him that will truly decide if he is to become the hero he always wanted to be.

Notes
[edit]- In August 2025, the pilot episode was unearthed on the portfolio page of art director Walter Gatus, though it was taken down shortly thereafter. The pilot is evidently from an earlier version of the show, before Xiaozha and the :}}isekai| elements were added, with several scenes having also been featured in the original 2019 trailer. That said, several shots from the pilot ended up being reused wholesale in the first batch of episodes.
- Despite the character designs being taken directly from Cyberverse and Legend of Nezha, none of the voice actors from those series reprise their roles.
- While Xiaolongnü, Lei Zhenzi, and Tu Xingsun all appeared in the original trailer (and the latter two even got their own toys), none of them appeared at all in the first 26 episodes, suggesting they may have been written out. It remains to be seen whether any of the three will make a surprise appearance in the show's back half.
