Notes

[edit]
  • The Prime Minister featured in IDW continuity under John Barber's pen may be modeled on [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}David Cameron|{{#if:||David Cameron}}]] and the Prime Minister in The Last Knight has a passing resemblance to him as well. Cameron was the incumbent PM when Action Man was published but recently replaced before The Last Knight started filming.
  • Speaking of Cameron, in 2009, then-PM [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Gordon Brown|{{#if:||Gordon Brown}}]] made a public appeal for Optimus Prime to come and solve the country's problems, to which Cameron's Conservative Party responded Brown had "more in common with the Decepticons".<ref>Daily Telegraph report</ref>
