Is this today's Canadian episode, or do I have to erase the character list again?--RosicrucianTalk 15:59, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

It's today's Canadian episode. It's legit. -- SFH 17:23, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
Cool. Wasn't sure because my source for Canadian episodes hasn't posted the new one yet.--RosicrucianTalk 17:28, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
God thank the moose. Also, the quote from "who is that GUY!" is an almost direct quote to speed racer X. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.154.158.80 (talkcontribs).
How in the name of Chim-Chim can you claim that? It's such a generic line.--Apcog 02:06, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
It was repeated in ever Speed racer episode, "who is that mysterious driver?!?" "Who is that guy?! WHO IS DRIVER X?!" parodied in dexter laboratory where they have the scene where Driver X turns up to be deedee "Where have you been all this time?!" "Right behind you dad!" "OH I NEVER LOOK THERE!" —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.154.158.80 (talkcontribs).
I mainly remember the narrator stating for the audience's benefit who Racer X was each time he showed up, but I don't recall other characters constantly asking who he was. I can't definitively claim you're wrong, but the parody Dexter's Lab episode probably isn't the best resource on which to rely.

Stunticons

The alleged "Transformers reference" that the other race cars, and Disaster's truck, look like the Stunticons, seems highly dubious to me. Disaster's truck doesn't have Motormaster's distinctive cupola windows (or any cupola), there's no six-wheeled F1 car, and none of the cars particularly resemble a Porsche, Lamborghini, or Ferrari. And, the color schemes are all wrong. Opinions? JW 04:14, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

I was thinking the same thing to be honest with you. --Professor Icepick 04:18, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Maximal Disaster

So, I think the resemblance between Master Disaster's logo and the Beast Wars Maximal logo is strong enough to bear mention. I mean, except for the cheek-fringe, the "hollow" ears, and the fact that Disaster's sometimes has a jaw, they're the same. Opinions? JW 13:26, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Need a better example than this.
I can has fuzzy cheeks.

I'd have to agree. -- SFH 16:36, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
"They're the same except for all those ways they're different"? Frankly, I don't think TFA would be shy about just USING the normal sigil unchanged if this was their intent. --M Sipher 17:29, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, if this was a nod, we'd KNOW. Because of the exact-sameness. --ItsWalky 17:36, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
I point out that removing minor details makes it easier to animate. However, [shrug]. JW 17:48, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
