A retooling of Animated Deluxe Class Jazz with a new head, Timelines Jackpot transforms into a souped-up approximation of a Porsche 911. The toy's exhaust pipes can be removed from its forearms, and are connected by a short length of string to serve as nunchaku-style weapons. They can also be assembled into claw-like weapons.
Jackpot was one of the first six Transformers Collectors' Club exclusive figures to be offered via the Transformers Figure Subscription Service in 2013, though the concept had initially been proposed for BotCon 2011.[2]
He was later handed out for free to BotCon 2014 attendees below the age of 13.
This mold (with the original Jazz head) was also used to make Dead End.

Notes

[edit]
Surprise! I'm in a Troop/Sepelak story!
  • As it turns out, Jackpot's comic debut in "Moving Violations" gave the audience the first glimpse at what Jazz's body-type looked like before Jazz adopted an Earth mode.[3]
  • Speaking of which, Jackpot's Cybertronian body type's robot mode is designed to look as though it transforms into Generation 1 Jazz's cartoon alt mode on Cybertron. This is not the only Animated character to do this.
  • Animated Jackpot and Hubcap's friendship in "Moving Violations" is carried over from their Generation 1 counterparts' portrayal in the prose story "Gone Too Far", also written by Greg Sepelak and Trent Troop.
  • Animated Jackpot's status as a recoloring of Jazz would wind up influencing the Generation 1 incarnation of Jackpot when the latter finally received a transforming toy in the 2021 War for Cybertron: Kingdom line as a redeco of Jazz!
