The Autobots wish you a happy new year, but a visiting Maximal has other priorities.
Synopsis
[edit]Optimus Prime and Bumblebee bid the readers a happy new year and attempt to introduce the new year's zodiac animal (the rabbit), but a gorilla bursts in through the background and transforms into Optimus Primal! Primal proceeds to advertise the new movie coming out this year, then welcomes the readers for another year of Go! Go!

[edit]- This story was published as the 2023 New Year's special of the web comic and advertised the War for Cybertron: Kingdom Leader Class Optimus Prime, Studio Series Dark of the Moon Bumblebee, and War for Cybertron: Kingdom Optimus Primal figures, as well as the feature film Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.
- This issue was pulled from the TV Magazine website after the publication of the first collected edition of Go! Go! in July 2023, presumably to motivate sales of the physical release, despite... not actually being collected in the first volume of Go! Go!.

[edit]- Optimus Primal makes his debut ahead of his star turn in 2023's Rise of the Beasts in this issue, maintaining the comic's standards of toy accuracy with a body based on the advertised Kingdom toy, identifiable by its characteristic blue feet.
