The Terrorcons confront Bomb-Burst in his hideout.
Synopsis
[edit]The Armada Universe Decepticons, alongside Breakdown Prime, arrive in a preserved fragment of Metalhawk and Bomb-Burst's home universe. Bomb-Burst appears and, not wanting his hiding place to be revealed, threatens to kill them. Megatron is confused as to who he is, but Breakdown sums him up with the words "big bad news." Megatron demands he surrender the Requiem Blaster, but Bomb-Burst isn't scared. Demolishor begs for permission to open fire on him, but is ordered to stand down, as Megatron draws the Dark Saber, and Wheeljack the Skyboom. Megatron asks why he's hiding in the void if he's truly as powerful as he says he is, and the group realize that it shields him from being detected by the Entity. Upon hearing the name, Bomb-Burst proceeds to ignore Breakdown's superstitions and utter his true title: The Fallen!

Quotes
[edit]"We claim the Requiem Blaster! Surrender it -- or-"
"Or what?! I laid waste a whole reality... Do you think for a moment I fear a second-rate Megatron and his ramshackle mob?"
- —Bomb-Burst puts Armada Megatron in his place.
Gameplay
[edit]This event was an Alliance event, meaning players were to unlock points with their Alliance, all of which went towards unlocking various prizes. The top prize was a crystal for a random 4-star Raiden or Dinoking component.
Notes
[edit]Continuity notes
[edit]- Bomb-Burst hasn't been physically seen since "Past Imperfect" (over a year ago in real-world time), where he made a deal with Swindle to give him the ability to wrest the Dark Star Saber from Deathsaurus' hands without falling under Unicron's thrall in order to bring it back to him. Swindle, being Swindle, didn't hold up his end of the bargain and never returned the blade to him.
- It makes sense that Megatron wouldn't recognize Bomb-Burst, as he was not involved in any of the time traveling, dimension-hopping madness of the 2024 Earth Wars storyline.
- This event's dialogue finally explicitly confirms the mysterious "Entity" teased for months is indeed The Fallen, presumably poised to become the debut unit of the much anticipated "Prime" character class.
Errors
[edit]- This event's story dialogue was labeled "When Realms Collide [Part 2 of 2]" in-game, indicating it was originally composed as the second half of the week before last's event and the stretching out of story content continues.
