[edit]- Dilophocon / Autobot JP12 (Multi-pack, 2023)
- Accessories: Rain hat, shaving cream canister, embryo containment unit, blaster
- Known designers: Brian Parrish (Hasbro)[1]
- Released to commemorate the thirtieth anniversary of the original Jurassic Park film, JP12 transforms from a Jeep Wrangler into a bespectacled robot based on Dennis Nedry as portrayed by Wayne Knight. JP12 comes with a removable rain hat accessory and a translucent embryo containment unit based on the Biosyn technology used to steal dinosaur embryos. The unit can plug into an additional can of shaving cream, mimicking the Barbasol can decoy Nedry used to smuggle the embryos out of Jurassic Park. He also includes a blaster which forms the winch on the front of his Jeep mode. The embryo container can store on a clip on the underside of his vehicle mode, or on 5 mm ports on the backs of his door wings in robot mode, as his instructions suggest.
- While the official paint color for the Jeeps in Jurassic Park is matte Sand Beige Metallic, a dark gold color, JP12 is much closer to a flan hue.
- JP12 was sold with Dilophocon in a two-pack debuted by Amazon and Hasbro Pulse in the United States market.
