Sheila Cranna is a British comics editor who served as the very first editor of the British edition of the Marvel Generation 1 comic. During her tenure she commissioned the first UK originated stories to meet the title's need, and was responsible for introducing Simon Furman to the world of the Transformers.

Cranna had little empathy for the characters and willingly ceded the editorial chair to Ian Rimmer.[1]

As well as Transformers, Cranna has worked on many other titles including Doctor Who Magazine between 1985 and 1988.
