Skybound Entertainment
Skybound Entertainment is a U.S. entertainment company headed up by Robert Kirkman and David Alpert, best known for The Walking Dead and Invincible brands. As an imprint of Image Comics, Skybound is the latest publisher of Transformers and G.I. Joe comics, beginning in 2023 with the launch of the shared Energon Universe continuity. The company also publishes other Transformers and G.I. Joe comics not tied to the Energon Universe, such as Transformers: Worst Bot Ever and the continuation of the long-running G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero comic. Their material for pre-teen and young adult readers is published under the Skybound Comet imprint.

- At San Diego Comic-Con 2023, Kirkman stated that Skybound eventually plans to reprint material from previous publishers such as Marvel Comics and IDW. This would eventually be fulfilled beginning with The Transformers Compendium in 2025.
