I assume this page will also (eventually) reference Linkage and the Fan Club comic? --ItsWalky 20:11, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

That seems reasonable. -Derik 20:49, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Linkage is briefly covered in the midst of the "2010" events. And conflabbit, I meant to include the Fan Club comic, but then Lost came on and I forgot about it in the rush to get it up and watch the TV. - Chris McFeely 22:01, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

I've got at least 1 US source stating 2010 on Armada, worth including?

And 2013? Really? That makes absolutely no sense. Kicker has aged more than 3 years from his flashbacks that occur after Armada! *stamps foot* Goddamnit Japan! -Derik 21:09, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

Well, no, the point is that in both America and Japan, both series are separated by ten years. 2013 is just the date that you get (and the date the timeline on the Takara website shows) if Armada takes place in 2003 (which the website also states). But in America, it takes place in 2010. What source do you have on that, by the way? I KNOW I read it in several places way back when, but I'll be buggered if I can remember ANY of them at this point. - Chris McFeely 22:01, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Armada sticker book says it explicitly IIRC. It was the mass-market (episode, comic, book...) source we had confirming any date for Armada. (I guess now we know why Rad was paranoid about the Russians, it seemed so silly back in 2003...)
Ahd er- I missed that Armada had a different date in Japan, silly me. -Derik 22:07, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

Tiny itty-bitty question

If Rodimus left Cybertron 8000 years ago, and Unicron disguised himself as Cybertron's moon 10 MYA... when exactly did Rodimus fail to come to the rescue of Alpha Q's planet, whose destruction put the attacking Unicron to sleep?

Also, where is the 8000 year date from? -Derik 22:57, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

The 8000 date, like all the pre-2010 dates, comes from the timeline on the Takara site. But, again, you wanna read a bit more carefully there, Derik - Unicron's attack on Planet Q comes between Armada and Energon. That was something that a lot of people theorized about at the time (m'self included), because the chronology really didn't seem to line up, and then this website timeline came along and went "Hey, you guys were right, this actually didn't make any sense before, so the way you said it happened is right now." - Chris McFeely 23:04, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
I sewear I remember the "8000 years ago" date for Rodimus's departure being in the cartoon itself. --KilMichaelMcC 01:14, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
