Second row, left: Prior to issue 6, Tailgate had the inscription on his arm "fixed"; however, due to an artistic error, presumably as result of foreknowledge of the eventual twist, the inscription ended up saying "Waste Disposal" in both the original single release of this issue, as well as the digital version of the More than Meets the Eye vol. 2 trade paperback collection. Again, the writing is in hand-drawn letters (now colored yellow instead of orange) with black outlines, with both words in one single line.

Second row, right: For the print edition of the More than Meets the Eye vol. 2 trade paperback collection, the inscription was "corrected" to read "Bomb Disposal". In this version, the writing is in digitally inserted black letters, still with both words in one single line.

Third row, left: In another artistic error, the inscription on Tailgate's right arm is missing entirely in one panel. This applies both to the original single release of this issue and the digital version of the More than Meets the Eye vol. 2 trade paperback collection.

Third row, center: Again, the missing "Bomb Disposal" inscription was added for the print edition of the More than Meets the Eye vol. 2 trade paperback collection, with the writing once again in digitally inserted black letters, again with both words in one single line.

Fourth row: In issue #12, Tailgate pretends to Rewind that he's actually a bomb disposal expert, with nearly disastrous results. In the left panel, the writing is again in hand-drawn yellow letters with black outlines, while in the right panel, owing both to the shadow effects and the smaller resolution, it's in plain black letters (but still hand-drawn). However, in both versions, the two words are now spread across two separate lines, which will be the default layout from from here on out.

Fifth row, right: Following his near-death experience in issue #21, Tailgate decided he no longer wants to pretend to be someone he isn't, and had the inscription on his arm changed to its original form, "Waste Disposal". First glimpsed at the beginning of issue #29, Tailgate specifically draws attention to it in issue #30, giving the reader a close-up look. The writing is again in hand-drawn letters (but now colored gray instead of orange or yellow) with black outlines, still with both words spread across two separate lines.
