Events
[edit]Part 1: Faction Free
[edit]Itching for a fight and wanting to split off from the Autobots, the Dinobots make a plan to pick a fight with the Constructicons so they can have an excuse to call in help from a C.O.M.B.A.T. Bot, bringing their number up to six, which is a more reasonable size for a splinter faction. Megatron, meanwhile, devises a plan to have the Constructicons fake going rogue so they can be recruited by the Terrorcons, lowering their guard and leaving them open to a Seeker assault.
Part 2: Loose Cannons
[edit]Optimus Prime has Prowl and the Earthforce go out and keep an eye on the Dinobots, who are themselves hanging around near the main Decepticon base waiting for the Constructicons to walk out the door. Just when they doubt their plan will work, that exact thing happens. Nearby, the Seekers leave to move into position over the Terrorcons' Primal Basilica, while some of the Constructicons express their doubts about the success rate of the mission.
Part 3: Follow the Leader
[edit]As they trail the Dinobots, the Earthforce figure out their plans. Still in the dark about what the Constructicons are doing, they decide to reach out to Sideways, who returns to the Terrorcons' Basilica to notify his two leaders of the Constructicons going AWOL. Breakdown Prime finds that they're 30 klicks away, are being followed by the Dinobots, and have just sent a requisition request for a C.O.M.B.A.T. Bot.
Part 4: Wheels within Wheels
[edit]Tyrannitron and Scorpulator arrive from Cybertron to help the Dinobots and Constructicons, who then merge into their combined forms (Volcancius and Devastator) and engage in a one-on-one battle. Megatronus Prime and Bomb-Burst watch from afar.
Part 5: Fan the Flames
[edit]While watching the combiner brawl, the Earthforce figure out Megatron's plan. Laser Optimus has Blaster scan for a hidden strike force while he calls in reinforcements. The Terrorcons also figure it out and decide to still attempt to recruit the Constructicons, in the process falling into the trap, which will draw out the strike force (who they deduce are the Seekers).

Notes
[edit]- Although the first two events were labelled as part of the previous saga according to game files, the game's occasional meta-dialogue in "Fan the Flames" would mention that event being the fifth installment of a nine-part saga, indicating that those two events were treated as being part of this saga instead (which, when you look at their plots, does make much more sense).
