In spite of his name...

Where does this come from? Is it really necessary to the article? Proconix 23:15, 7 June 2008 (UTC)Proconix

He's an escape artist who, in the actual fiction, is primarily notable getting killed a lot. Thus- he failed to 'get away.' -Derik 23:12, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

The only deaths I see are the alternate future stories and the the one where he is ressurected by the Last Autobot. If I am wrong, then we should add that he has gotten killed more than is let on. Proconix 23:15, 7 June 2008 (UTC)Proconix

...then he still failed to get away in all those alternate futures, and from bludgeon's forces. -Derik 23:19, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

I understand that, but he doesn't come to grief "often". Its only 3 times, one of which he was resurected.Proconix 23:21, 7 June 2008 (UTC)Proconix

He only died three times? That seems like a lot to me. - Semysane 00:46, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

It's similar to Dirge whose article notes he has a propensity to dies a lot, although to get the death count up it does involve rummaging through some micro continuities. Getaway gets killed at least three times at the hands of Furman, is also a major casualty in battles with Starscream and Thunderwing and this even pops up on his Wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Getaway_%28Transformers%29 "After this [ People Power! ] Getaway wouldn't have many appearances - and those he did usually ended badly." Certainly three deaths and two other vicious beatings, all in the space of less than two years publication time, is coming to grief a lot. Timrollpickering 00:59, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
