The Decepticons invaded the giant aliens' planet so they could sap its resources and took members of the tribe as slaves. Their foretold savior came in the form of Rodimus Convoy Jr., who was informed by the elder about the prophecy that the "small giant god" would save the giant aliens from their woes.
