Synopsis

[edit]

At the Autobot base, Ai materializes and contacts the various Autobot teams on Earth—the Car Robo Brothers, Team Shinkansen, and the Spychangers. Fire Convoy explains that he'd like to go over their previous battles since their arrival on the planet, so that they can consider ways to get the Destrongers to leave the planet. Speedbreaker isn't particularly interested in participating, preferring to go after the red car again, and is admonished by Mach Alert for tarnishing the reputation of the 3 Car Robo Brothers. J-Four gets involved in the argument, but just ends up uttering a misstated proverb that confuses J-Five. Wildride cuts the digression short and switches the focus back on Fire Convoy...

The Autobot leader ponders just what the Destrongers desire, not convinced it's just mere invasion of Earth; they look back on Gigatron's first appearance on the planet, and the subsequent battle between the Autobots and the Destrongers. First Deployment! Fire Convoy Subsequently, they consider the fact that the Destrongers have focused solely on gathering energy, not targeting military bases or major cities. A distraught Speedbreaker bemoans how his beloved red sports car was Gelshark's target in one of the Destrongers' first operations. High Speed Battle! Gelshark The Autobots think of a later incident that pulled in the Spychangers; the Spychangers talk up their ninja abilities in the midst of bad jokes. Ninja Robo! Enter the Spychangers The first clue to the Destrongers' intentions, they suspect, was during their attempt to reroute energy to their mobile base—the distance between where they came from and Earth is far, so they seemingly ran out of energy. Resolute Jump! Mach Alert

At the Destronger base where they're intercepting the Autobot signal and their commentary, an angered Gigatron berates Gelshark for the Destrongers' constant failures in gathering energy, but the subordinate Destronger attempts to assuage his leader's foul mood by showing footage of their attempts at spreading word of Gigatron's greatness. He starts off with their attack on the Linear RFG that was ultimately foiled by JRX. Unite! Shinkansen Robo Gelshark quickly moves on to what he thinks were good plots—when they kidnapped Speedbreaker to lure out Fire Convoy Speedbreaker's Crisis! and when they tried to make Counter Arrow betray the Autobots. Counter Arrow's Betrayal!? Gigatron tells the shark to pipe down so they can listen in to the Autobots' communications again.

Fire Convoy thinks back to some of the Destrongers' more seemingly nonsensical attacks, starting with the villains' failed interception of a D51 locomotive. Mysterious Weapon! D5 Returning to Gigatron's first attack, they note that the human he kidnapped was Daichi Ohnishi, an archeoastronomy expert who was researching OOPArts. Gelshark panics that the Autobots are getting wise to their actual plan, but Gigatron reassures him that the Autobots don't have any idea... First Deployment! Fire Convoy He knows Earth has something special and that the best way to search a planet is to ask its inhabitants—in their case, the kidnapped Ohnishi. The Autobots talk of Gelshark's excursion in Kappadokia, and Yuuki concludes that they must be getting their ancient ruin targets from his father... Gigatron's Raid!
