- Claymore is a Mini-Con from the video game version of the Unicron Trilogy.
Claymore is one of many power-enhancing Mini-Cons scattered across Earth. A member of the Blue Mini-Con Team, when Powerlinxed to a larger Transformer, Claymore launches proximity mines that are triggered by nearby opponents coming within range.
With a Stentorian voice and nigh-kamikaze personal battle tactics, Claymore is tiny ball of cacophonic violence. However, it's all in the service of greater Mini-Con independence - which he hopes will eventually entail his people being left alone by BOTH sides of the Autobot/Decepticon war. <sup id="cite_ref-0" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-0" title="">[1]</a></sup>
Fiction
Transformers Playstation 2 Game
Claymore's Mini-Con storage panel was discovered in a small alcove in the Amazon. Following the defeat of Megatron, he and the other Mini-Cons returned to Cybertron and helped form the Matrix Cannon, Nemesis Shield and Vanguard Booster, giving the Autobots the power needed to destroy Unicron.
Trivia
- Claymore uses the same base model as Aftershock, Airburst, Slapshot and Watchdog.
