- A Cyber-slash tail weapon is a rotate blade in the Beast Era.
A Cyber-slash tail weapon<sup id="cite_ref-0" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-0" title="">[1]</a></sup> is a rotate blade used by the Predacon Dinobot. When Dinobot transforms to robot mode, his velociraptor tail converts into a two-pronged blade that spins and spins. When deployed, it can batter enemies, deflect enemy fire, or, when its wielder is up in the air, provide a more gentle, controlled descent.
It is also referred to as a Veloci-Rotor blade<sup id="cite_ref-1" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-1" title="">[2]</a></sup> or Rotary Blade<sup id="cite_ref-2" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-2" title="">[3]</a></sup> or simply as a "slasher weapon"<sup id="cite_ref-3" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-3" title="">[4]</a></sup> or "spinning blade weapon"<sup id="cite_ref-4" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-4" title="">[5]</a></sup>.
Several other Beasties have similar or identical weapons. Grimlock's rotate blade is called a Spinning Slasher Sword, Hardhead's rotate blade is the Revolution Shield, while Thrustor's rotate blade is a Raptor Shield. Dinotron's version of this weapon is called merely a "spinning blade".
