Rite of Oneness

The Rite of Oneness is a Cybertronian custom from the <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Marvel" class="mw-redirect" title="Marvel">Marvel</a> portion of the <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Generation_1" class="mw-redirect" title="Generation 1">Generation 1</a> <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Continuity_family" title="Continuity family">continuity family</a>.

No <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Autobot" title="Autobot">Autobot</a> has ever broken it. It is used to cement agreements. All participants contribute a bit of their most precious bodily fluid—their fuel—into a vessel. The fuel is then burned. To break the pact is to forfeit one's very life.

In response to images that purported to show the Dinobots defeating Shockwave, Megatron revealed to Ratchet that he had no intention of honoring the Rite.
