As a Hasbro licensee, Tyco produced several interesting Transformers products.
- Electric Racing Set (1985)
- This slot car set included two "transforming" race cars, Nitron and Freezon. The two cars were also available separately from the track set, as they were interchangeable with any other Tyco-produced track. They also glowed in the dark.
- This thing was so cool. Holy crap. The train cars turned into tanks and airplanes and it came with a playmat and little rubber figures of dudes to attack the train. So cool!
Trivia
- Tyco is now owned by Mattel, Inc., Hasbro's chief rival in the toy industry. The name is currently used for Mattel's r/c car division.
