Mecha alive is a gimmick in the Revenge of the Fallen toyline.

Mech alive feature moving panel and/or moving gears and mechanisms when you move the robot's members and/or arms, or even when you transform it.

It must not be confused with automorph, the first movie toy line gimmick who make automatically transforms some part of the Transformer. Mech alive take no part in the transformation process and can still be activated once the Robot is transformed. It is supposed to represent the constantly moving part and gears that can be seen on the Transformers in the Movie.
