Template talk:Recycle
Idle thought after looking at the "Starscream" Cyb episode page. "Cleanup" doesn't cut it when a page is clearly as useless as that. There's nothing to clean, only a little bit of shit to sweep away before you start over from scratch. But the Deletion template makes it seem like we don't want ANY page under that name, which isn't true and leads to confusion for new people.
So perhaps a "Recycle" template is in order? It would still place the article in the "to be deleted" category as "tobedeleted" does, but the template itself would clarify that while we do need an article under this name, the current one needs to completely scrapped and redone from the ground up, and until that point, should be deleted because what's there NOW is completely worthless and looks awful. Give the template a close-up of a smirking Dinobot and the quote "You will be recycled with full honors".
And while I'm thinking about it... perhaps a "Standards Bastard" template for those who make pages that don't conform to our page layouts, or mess up pages by slapping in bad images and text? Maybe with RID Prowl and some rule quote? Or T-AI with something about protocol? --M Sipher 16:42, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

- The Style Guide is less comprehensive than I remember it being. It should at least point to a complete character, episode and comic page each. Also, it seems to be missing the "in-universe" deal. We should probably revamp this. --M Sipher 20:41, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
