Jedi
- The Jedi Knights are a militant religious order in the Galaxy Far Far Away portion of an unknown continuity family.
The Jedi are a religious organization of warriors, drawn from many species of their home galaxy, who worship a bioenergy field known as the "Force". For millennia, their order has guarded the Galactic Republic against threats both external and internal, most notably the Sith, their monastic rivals. Both Jedi and Sith orders they draw on the Force for strength and skill, but unlike the Sith, the Jedi use the "light side" of the Force, which advocates a detached emotional center, and listening to the Force to discover the proper course of action.
Like the Sith, they do not seem to employ mechs very much, but their use of the Force has proven to be a considerable advantage in combat, seemingly making it unnecessary. Even so, as war spread in through the Galaxy, a beleaguered Republic Government was all too glad to provide at least three prominent Knights with mech-starfighters....
