Akram was in his desert village home when his son, Mahfouz, and a group of US Military troops came running across the desert pursued by a giant mechanical scorpion. The troops, including Mahfouz's idol, William Lennox, rushed into the village. Mahfouz led Lennox to Akram so Lennox could ask for a telephone. Akram spoke enough English to understand and handed Lennox a cell phone while he led his son to safety. Akram never got his phone back. Transformers
