Mirtonian constellation
- The Mirtonian constellation is a region of space in the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Mirtonian constellation is a region of space which has at times been involved in the Transformers' constant warring.
It is home of the the peaceful Mirtonian Confederacy, which is ruled by elected government including Senator Drelnar Feh'd.[1]
The alien mutant Carcass hails from the planet of Mirtonia in "Quadrant 4", presumably the world for which the constellation is named.

An unknown rocky planet in Sector 17 of the Mirtonian Constellation was the site of a Decepticon base.
There, Optimus Prime suffered catastrophic damage at the hands of Megatron. He was reconstructed by the Reconfiguration Matrix into a new, more powerful Laser Rod form. G-2 Mini-Manga
Transformers Universe: featuring The Wreckers
In the Beast Era, the Maximal T-Wrecks was stationed in Sector 17 before called by the events of Megatron's takeover of Cybertron.[2]
Trivia
- The Mirtonian Constellation represents an odd bit of Hasbro synergy. The tech-spec for the 1995 Laser Rod Optimus Prime toy described a showdown in "sector 17 Mirtonian constellation," apparently a reference to the planet 'Mirtonia,' home planet of an alien named Carcasd from the G.I. Joe toyline the year before. The showdown itself (in turn) appears to refer to the events of the Japanese Generation 2 pack-in manga.
