This article is about movie Decepticon tank. For Armada Mini-Con plane, see Gunbarrel (Armada).
Gunbarrel is an Decepticon from the 2007 movie franchise portion of the live-action film series continuity family.

Gunbarrel isn't a personality bot. He rarely says a word, but he perfers to blast eveything he wants, giving Brawl a run for his money. He uses his brain module to aim at targets at a distance, yet he wants to removie it entirely to add another cannon on his head. Many Autobots who face him are lucky his imagination and intelligence aren't equel to his firepower.

Fiction

IDW Transformers movie comics

Sent to Earth by Soundwave, Gunbarrel (along with Reverb) was one of the Decepticons working under Fracture, who was nice enough to find an alternate mode for him at an Italian military base. After scanning, the Decepticons destroyed the installation. Alliance issue 3

Reverb and Gunbarrel were eventually hunted down and destroyed by the Autobots and their human allies. Alliance issue 4

Due to space constraints, Reverb and Gunbarrel do not actually appear in Alliance issue 4, but their deaths are reported by Ironhide.

Transformers (2007)

Like Brawl, but winterfresh!
  • Gunbarrel (Scout, 2009)
    • Accessories: Dual cannon/radar Energon Weapon (combiner foot/hand), Decepticon-style energon star
Part of the canceled[1] fifth assortment of Target exclusive movie-series Scouts, Gunbarrel was to have been a redeco of Energon Blight/Kickback, transforming into an anti-aircraft tank similar to a Gepard. He had a clear greenish-blue energon chip that could attach to most Energon-series toy molds. He could also have formed the arm or leg to any Energon combiner team super robot — though no super robot torsos actually came out during the original live-action movie toyline, and his packaging makes no mention of the toy's ability to combine.
This mold was also used to make the Fun Publications Transformers Collectors' Club-exclusive toy Landquake and Universe (2008) Bruticus Maximus team members Blast Off and Brawl.
