People were throwing the categories around before we solidified the idea that they refer to franchises. Dogfight appeared int he G2 comic, so... (I don't think he should be there.) -Derik 12:29, 24 April 2009 (EDT)

Yes, the franchise categories are for anyone who appeared in them. For example, Kup is also in Generation 2 characters, because he's a character in Generation 2. --ItsWalky 12:37, 24 April 2009 (EDT)
