"The Power Struggle" is a promotional poster that was available from Frito-Lay brand snack products. It unfolds, triptych-style, into a large poster depicting yet another battle between Optimus Prime and Megatron in a desert near a dam.

Synopsis

This is a powerful struggle, indeed.

The sinister Decepticons have set their sights on a powerful energy source. However, the heroic Autobots are there to foil their evil schemes. Things get worse for Megatron when the sinister Shockwave decides it is time to betray his commander and seize control!

HAHAHAAHAH AWESOME.

• The whole "Optimus and Megatron fight near/around/on top of a dam" meme reappears here. It also appears in a different mail-away poster, Battle for the Desert Valley.
• Much of the art is borrowed from "Battle for the Desert Valley" as well - specifically the art of Prime and Megatron. The rest is a weird mix of packaging art (Kickback, Snarl), and modified toy photography (Grimlock, Devastator).
• Shockwave is drawn with a face. So is Hound's vehicle mode.
• Jazz is hilariously mistransformed.
• Kickback has mind control abilities.
