Rattletrap is an Autobot from the Animated continuity family.

Rattletrap is that one 'bot who will tell you anything if you "persuade" him enough. He's kind of a dirty rat when you think about it.

Rattletrap apparently gave info on Omega Supreme's activiation codes to a Decepticon double agent. He was later interrogated by an old geezer and a filthy organic, who threatened to slime him if he didn't tell them where the code keeper was...

• Rattletrap is obviously an homage to Rattrap from Beast Wars, right down to the nasally Brooklyn accent. However, he's much more willing to work with Decepticons than the original was... Except for that one time in Beast Machines.
• Rattletrap's face was given to Peaugh in the form of a Twitter avatar as a gift from Derrick Wyatt.
