• At the very end, Optimus Prime is shown wearing the Autobot Matrix of Leadership on a chain around his neck. (Exactly what the Matrix is supposed to represent in Animated continuity is unclear, as nothing of the sort had ever been mentioned before).

Real-world references

• Ratchet refers to the Lugnut Supremes as "knockoffs".

Trivia

• As of this episode, there's a lot of remaining uncaptured Decepticons! Thundercracker and Skywarp are still floating out somewhere in space. Blackarachnia and Waspinator are still on that unidentified Earth-like planet. Soundwave, Laserbeak, Ratbat fled the scene in "Human Error, Part II." Swindle left for parts unknown in "Decepticon Air." The Female Starscream and Team Chaar all remain at large.
