Firestar is an Autobot from the Generation 1 continuity family.
Inferno's Amazing Friend

Firestar was one of the members of Elita One's female Autobot resistance after the departure of the Ark from Cybertron. Practical and unprepossessing, she was nonetheless particularly useful during thefts of Decepticon Energon cubes, as her vehicle mode is capable of transporting large numbers of them.

Firestar is a close friend of Inferno and Chromia, and entrusted the safety of her protege Flareup to the latter.

Fiction

Firestar has by far the finest ass among the female Autobots.

She remained behind with the other females when Prime's team returned to Earth. The Search for Alpha Trion

Timelines: Descent into Evil comic

According to Ben Yee, Firestar was originally planned to have died prior to the events of Descent Into Evil, owing to the inability to secure the trademark "Firestar", resulting in her intended toy becoming Flareup. However, this was intentionally omitted from the final version of the convention set. Consequently, her final fate is unknown.
