Transformers (2007) film
Shortly after the United States learned of the devastating attack on the SOCCENT Forward Operations Base in Qatar, the President dispatched battle groups to the Arabian Gulf and the Yellow Sea, not knowing which of their potential enemies had attacked them.
After the attack on Air Force One which succeeded in both hacking the military network and introducing a virus into the system, Admiral Brigham opined to the assembled Joint Chiefs of Staff and Secretary of Defense John Keller that the only countries with this sort of capability would be Russia, North Korea and perhaps China. He was refuted by Maggie Madsen (the young analyst who detected the hack) who explained that the capabilities required to hack their systems at such speed were beyond known technology. Brigham retorted by showing the increased North Korean naval activity, but was not impressed with Madsen pointed out that it was probably a precaution against the US's own naval movements.
Later, when Secretary Keller discovered that no foreign power on Earth was responsible for the events in Qatar, he ordered the battle groups to turn their ships around and return to US territory immediately.
