Revenge of the Fallen movie

[edit]
Hey, I can see Starscream's house from here. *fires*

Thousands of years later, The Fallen sent the Decepticons to Earth to capture Sam Witwicky, the human boy who now possessed the knowledge and power contained within the AllSpark. It was hoped that the boy's knowledge would lead them to the lost Matrix of Leadership, which could activate the Star Harvester and revitalise the dying Cybertronian race.

Megatron and Starscream flew atop the pyramid, surveying the area as NEST/Autobot and Decepticon forces prepared for battle. When Megatron gave the order to attack, the Constructicons arrived, combined into Devastator and began clambering from a quarry onto the pyramid, while Megatron fended off a Jordanian Royal Air Force helicopter. It crashed near former Sector Seven agent Seymour Simmons, who used their radio to contact the United States Navy for assistance. Devastator climbed to the pyramid's peak and began sucking up the stones, uncovering the Star Harvester within.

Although the USS Kidd fired her experimental rail gun, the harvester was exposed and The Fallen activated it with the Matrix of Leadership. The United States military unleashed everything it had in the area, but they were no match for The Fallen's awesome telekinetic powers, and only a blast from Optimus Prime, using parts donated by the late Jetfire, destroyed the harvester, taking part of the pyramid with it. Trivia

[edit]
  • The idea of a pyramid in Egypt being tied in with extraterrestrials seems to reference the real-world psuedoscience concept called the [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}ancient astronauts|{{#if:||ancient astronauts}}]] theory. The (often racist) conspiracy theories holds that aliens/Atlanteans/interdimensional beings/whatever-else was responsible for building the pyramids and other great monuments instead of, you know, the people who actually lived in the locations of said monuments. Ironically enough, nothing in Revenge of the Fallen media implies Cybertronians had anything to do with actually building this particular pyramid or any others. This implies the native Egyptians really did build the pyramids in the context of the story, albeit with the extra caveat of not only constructing it for entombing purposes but to also hide the harvester.
