- Karen Fishook is a parody of Carrie Fisher, or more specifically her character in the Star Wars movies; Princess Leia (she has the exact same 'hair buns').
- Interestingly she was voiced by Susan Blu, who would later voice Arcee. Arcee would later be described by her creators as a robot version of a 'naked Princess Leia'.
