Reverb's toy bio shares the same basic personality as the unpublished bio for the canceled toy of the same name from the 2007 Movie toyline.
Although the packaging photos show them to say "Colony Racing", the actual production Reverb features a pair of tampographs reading "Calany Racing". Oops.
Reverb was designed as an homage to Inferno - witness the "Calany Racing" tampos mentioned above as well as the "97" markings (Inferno's release year) - but also coincidentally (or perhaps not) resembles the Tonka GoBot Dart.
