Shortround (Cybertron)
Shortround is a Decepticon character in the Cybertron portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity.
While on Earth, many Decepticons are shown to act just like the locals, and Shortround's fellow soldiers see him as a nuisance, especially fellow naval unit Thunderblast. Nerdy, destructive, and fast, Shortround erupts into panic at the sight of Autobots which often results into chaotic displays of superheated plasma being fired everywhere which, ultimately, allow his companions to escape.
Be it running supplies at 350 MPH or just stalking Thunderblast, Shortround is a valued member of the Decepticon forces on Earth.
Shortround has yet to make an appearance in a fictional capacity outside his official Hasbro-penned bio.
Toys
Shortround's mold is exclusive to the Hasbro Cybertron line, transforming into a hovercraft vehicle with, according to Hasbro's marketing department, "features snap-up fusion torpedoes in hovercraft mode!"
He will ship with a silver-bordered Earth planet Key starting in the Spring/Summer of 2006.
