"Shortround spends an inordinate amount of time hunting down packaging samples of unreleased transforming robot action figures."

This is a joke right? If not it may be one of the best Transformers bio's ever written. --TheTurnipKing 10:20, 31 October 2006 (UTC)--

Cyber Key code bio. Interrobang 14:25, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
Quick question about this: is it "packaging samples" as in "printed but unused boxes" or "packaged samples" as in "toys in their boxes ready for shipping"? --Khajidha (talk) 10:58, 13 November 2017 (EST)

Not a good mold for Seaspray

[edit]

Personally, I think they should use Shortround's mold for Seaspray in Universe (2008). I'm just a fan of the mold, though.--Dynamus Prime 15:28, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

I dunno, when I think "Seaspray," I don't usually think "frightening claw creature." An evil Seaspray, sure. --ItsWalky 15:39, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
And thus Walky gave Fun Productions an awful, terrible idea for Botcon 08.--RosicrucianTalk 15:42, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
No, "use Shortround as heroic Seaspray" is an awful, terrible idea. --M Sipher 19:12, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Frankly, I hope if Hasbro is too lazy to make a new mold, Shortround could be repaint in to Universe (2008) Seaspray. (But I really hope there could be a whole new mold for Seaspray.) --TX55 15:50, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
I already use Storm Surge as Classics Seaspray so I approve of Hasbro repainting him as an actual Seaspray. --74.57.3.251 17:12, 20 March 2008 (UTC) (Detour at work)
I agree, this mold is perfect for seaspray! i mean, the head could not be a better modern seaspray, and the vehicle mode is exactly what you would expect a modern seaspray toy to look like! although i agree the claw like appendages for his arm dont really work well for seaspray, but hey, they dont really work for shortround or storm surge either! --Skyglide 21:36, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
The claws are perfect for Shortround. He's meant to have claws. Storm Surge as Seaspray is... Really bit too much of a leap for even me to make, and I'm the type to use Arm. Sideswipe as a stand in for Nightbeat. Plus, missiles. Seaspray really deserves a new mold, because Shortround, despite being one of my favourite characters, looks absolutely nothing like him, aside from having the same alt mode. And if having the same alt mode was applicable for characters being the same, then I'm still waiting for a Cyb. Armorhide repaint into Motormaster or Optimus --Mecheon 04:35, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
Just what does this have to do with editing the Wiki? —Interrobang 04:40, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
Absolutely nothing --Mecheon 08:40, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
Its not just that he has the same alt mode! The way he transforms is almost the same! Front to legs, arms from the side, chest from the middle, back propeller kibble things sit in the back hoping to be ignored behind the head. --Skyglide 14:18, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
I know this is a year old, but I felt it should be said here as well as in the article: The mold was used for Shattered Glass Seaspray. ZeldaTheSwordsman 09:50, 6 December 2009 (EST)

Toilet Mode!

[edit]

I recently got the storm surge toy and saw a lot of buzz online about this molds toilet mode. Since this feature is widely known by fans, should it get a mention?--Autobotx1010 22:16, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

Wait... Toilet mode?--Dynamus Prime 02:07, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Whaaaaa......--Skyglide 14:15, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
I've actually heard the same thing, but have no idea what it is. And a Google search for "transformers storm surge toilet" actually points to this page, so I think it might be worth at least some kind of mention. If anyone knows what it is. Buttbutt 18:34, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
Wikipedia mentions it. -- 86.87.28.191 11:29, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
Unfortunately, unless they cite their source, that doesn't help much.--Apcog 14:25, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Should there be a page for the term "fan mode" or some synonym? It's a fairly clear term, but a list of notable examples might be nice. Khajidha 11:06, 7 December 2009 (EST)
