Harvester unit

This article is about the Transformer-collecting machines from the Generation 1 Marvel Comics. For the machine that collects energy from a star in Revenge of the Fallen, see solar harvester.

Harvester units are Decepticon machines in the Marvel Comics portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Decepticons on Cybertron under the command of Straxus had no use for any transformers that are not Decepticons. No use, that is, except for use as raw materials. The Empties in Dead End were particular targets because of their inability to put up much of a defense. Harvester units would prowl around looking for victims to throw into the smelting pool. They would often work with hunter-seeker skyships who would shoot hapless Transformers from the air then the harvester units would follow to scoop up the bodies.
