Water-squirting gimmick
From MediaWiki
Water-squirting is a gimmick in which a toy is made so that it can shoot water out of its gun or by another means (i.e. Beast mode mouth). Most of the time filling the gun happens by sqeezing a soft bladder to suck the water until it is full. Squeezing is then used to shoot. This can simulate a laser gun more then a projectile weapon would.
This gimmick was first used in the Generation 2 Color Changers and was later carried into the Beast Wars and other proceeding toylines. Due to the gimmick's use of water, it is sometimes combined with color changing, which can be water activated..

Notes
- While the gimmick itself fairly common addition that has appeared throughout many kids toylines, most adult collectors do not employ its use due to the possibilty of metal pieces on the toys rusting due to possible water contact.
