This Round

*deep breath*

Allright. I'd been putting this off, but I can't keep avoiding it in good conscience.

This round of the Q&A took me entirely off guard. I had gotten into the mindset of the sessions being bimonthly, and as such, did not to think to check the schedule earlier in the month to see whether more questions were due; at the time, I was still waiting for the answers to July's questions to arrive.

Because of this, I did not realize questions were due August 10th until after the designated time of question submission had already passed - the submission period is supposed to end at 3pm EST, and I had been occupied with personal matters on that day up until that time. With no time to put up a question submission page, I scrambled to come up with questions on my own, in the hope I could still get them in under the wire.

While I was successful in that regard, I do not feel the questions were up to our usual standards, and the generally disappointing answers seem to bear this out. For both this and excluding the voices of the other members of the Wiki community in this round of the Q&A, I sincerely apologize.

Just to get the information out in the open, according to the schedule we have, the upcoming rounds of the Q&A return to the bimonthly format; the next sets of questions are due Monday, October 5th and Monday, November 30th. Following the procedures we have previously established at the Wiki, that would mean our submission periods for those rounds will end late Sunday (~11pm), October 4th and late Sunday (~11pm), November 29th.

Again, I am sorry, and I hope to avoid anything like this happening again in the future. --Monzo 21:21, 26 August 2009 (EDT)

Don't sweat it, Monzo. We're all Only Human, and therefore capable of Human Error.--Jimsorenson 22:00, 26 August 2009 (EDT)
Actually, the first one isn't bad, and I think question two is a very neat question. Even aside from battle damage, I've always kind of wondered how TFs manage to look seamless in their altmodes. --Jeysie 22:49, 26 August 2009 (EDT)

I don't think the answers are disappointing at all. We learn that Energon Demolishor was for sure originally supposed to be Long Haul and that apparently the movie guys project holograms of their vehicle modes when they're in vehicle mode but damaged. --ItsWalky 23:04, 26 August 2009 (EDT)

I'd kinda been wondering about that first one myself, Demolisher being an odd name for a dump truck. Glad it wasn't just me! --abates 05:18, 27 August 2009 (EDT)
Monzo, it's totally cool. Fuck knows we consistently get better and more insightful answers than 90% of the other fan-sites. I'm glad you came up with something better than DOOD WHEN WE GET GEEWUN HARMAN ALLIANZES???? Hooper_X 08:59, 27 August 2009 (EDT)
