Doctor Ogaki is a human from the Victory cartoon portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Doctor Ogaki is the head scientist at the New Energy Resource Research and Development Laboratory. He was also a good friend of Doctor Minakaze, the ill-fated father of Jean Minakaze.

After Hellbat made an attempt to raid the research laboratory, Star Saber assured Doctor Ogaki that he was in safe hands now that the Brainmasters were going after the Decepticons. Ogaki revealed to Jean that he had been good friends with Jean's father since college. Though he was alarmed when Star Saber mentioned the threat of another Decepticon attack, the Autobot leader again reassured him.

After the Autobots had driven the Breastforce away, Doctor Ogaki thanked them and promised Jean that he would honour Jean's father via his work. The New Warrior - Hellbat
