Twin
Transformer twins often share a closer connection than other forms of Transformer relatives.
Generation 1 continuity
Sideswipe & Sunstreaker are fraternal twin brothers. Fiction at the time never explored the details of this relationship, or if there was such a thing as identical twins. Later, the More Than Meets The Eye profile books revealed that brothers are formed when a spark that is being introduced to a protoform naturally splits.
Animated continuity
Twins in this continuity are born with identicle circuitry which is what makes it easy to operate on them. Apparently they seem to be two components of one true form.
They also have twin telepathy powers which meens they actually know what one another are thinking.

Live-action film series
Two Transformers that are twins have a special relationship to each other. The two are intimately linked. Their relationship is so close, they consider the other to be their other half.
When one twin dies, the other feels a temporary surge of pain, but continues on afterwards by himself.
Twin Link
Twins can communicate in a way that is almost psychic. This is instantaneous and works even at a distance. Twins can use this to coordinate battle tactics.[1]
